Ventspils University College
Ventspils University College (Ventspils Augstskola, VeA) is a new and rapidly growing institution of higher education at Latvia. It was established 1997 by the state - the Republic of Latvia. All the time VeA is highly supported by the Ventspils City Council.
The first studies were: Economics and Management Studies, Translation Studies. Since 2002 there is a new bachelor study program in Information Technologies with two specializations: computer network administration and data base administration. For Autumn 2003 is planned to start a study program for programmers.
